Spaghetti Casserole

Submitted by: HALIBRIDE

Introduction

The nutritional information was calculated based on rough estimations. While I used lean ground beef and 27% milk fat marble cheese, you can cut calories by using extra lean and fat free cheese. Also, my spaghetti measure was probably off. The nutritional information was calculated based on rough estimations. Ingredients

1/2 lb ground beef (extra lean to cut calories)
    1 cup spaghetti sauce
    1 medium tomato, diced
    1 garlic cloves, pressed
    1 tbsp onion, diced
1 small package of whole wheat spaghetti
    1.5 cups of cheese, shredded

Directions

Brown the beef and drain the fat.
Add garlic, tomatos, and garlic to the pan, and allow them to sautee slightly with the beef.
Slowly stir in the tomato sauce, let simmer for 10 minutes.

Cook spaghetti and drain.

In a casserole dish, gently mix the beef and sauce with the spaghetti. Cover the top with cheese (I used marble chedder, but you could use mozzarella and parmesan too).

Bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
