    * 2 cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained
    * 1 can crushed tomatoes
    * 1 cup frozen spinach
    * 4 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
    * 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
    * salt, to taste (optional)
