Whole Wheat Cheese Lasagna

Introduction

This probably isn't the healthiest recipe, but I've yet to find a good homemade sauce that works as well or tastes as good as store-bought. This probably isn't the healthiest recipe, but I've yet to find a good homemade sauce that works as well or tastes as good as store-bought.

Ingredients

    1 Box whole wheat, oven-ready Lasagna noodles.
    1 Jar Pasta sauce
    1.5 cups fat-free cottage cheese
    .25 cups parmesan
    2 cups 2% milk mozzarella cheese
    2 large egg whites or 1/2 cup egg beaters

Directions

Preheat oven to 375
Mix together cottage cheese, parmesan, egg whites and 1 1/2 cups of the mozzarella.
Place small amount of sauce in bottom of 13X9 baking pan.
Layer noodles, sauce and cheese mixture. On third layer, top with remaining sauce and remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella. Cover with foil. Bake for 55-60 minutes.
