Geo's Lasagna

Introduction

An American version of the Italian classic, so easy and so delifcious. An American version of the Italian classic, so easy and so delifcious.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. Italian Sausage
    1 onion, chopped
    1 T basil
    1 t garlic powder
    2 (6 oz) cans tomato paste
    32 oz canned whole tomatoes
    -----
    24 oz cottage cheese, fat free
    1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
    2 large eggs
    3 T dried parsley
    -----
    16 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
    -----
    8 oz lasagna noodles, cooked

Directions

Saute onion and sausage until meat is done. Add next 4 ingredients. Simmer 30 min.
Combine next 4 ingredients.
Layer in order, half of: noodles, meat mixture, cheese mixture, and mozzarella in 13x9 baking pan. Repeat layers.
Bake at 375F 30 min. Let stand 10 min before cutting.
Serve with a tossed green salad and Italian bread.
