Pork Chops in mushroom sauce

Introduction

Just like mom used to make. Just like mom used to make.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 - boneless pork chops
    1 can of mushrooms (water removed)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can of water
    2 tsp garlic
    Pepper to taste

Directions

Sprinkle chops with pepper, brown them on a non-stick fry pan or grill. Place is caserole dish.

In non-stick pan saute mushrooms & garlic for a minute. Add the soup & water. Mix until all nice & creamy.

Pour over chops & cover. Bake in 350F oven for an hour or hour & half.

Serve over rice or potatoes (not included in count).

  • Made this for dinner the other night and we all loved it,, adults, 5yr old daughter and 19 mo. son. It was easy and delicious. I used fresh mushrooms and served Risotto and Corn to accompany it. The sauce was really good with the risotto - 3/27/09
