Ingredients

1 Cup mashed banana
1 med egg beaten
30g Almonds chopped
10g Walnuts chopped (or another nut you prefer)
1/2 cup sugar (not sure on the substitute never used it before)
1 1/2 Cup cake flour
2 TBSP Light Spread melted
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking soda
Directions
pre heat oven to 180 degrees C.
Mix the banana, egg, nuts, butter in one dish. In another dish combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and soda. Add the wet into the dry and mix until all lumps are out (except ones from nuts)
Pour into a non stick loaf pan and put into oven. Turn the oven down to about 150.
Bake for around 30mins or until you insert something and it comes out clean.

what can i put in place of walnuts?
can i use a sugar substitute like splenda? - 1/14/09

Not sure what you could use but another nut that you prefer should be fine as all I did was throw them in and it worked. The splenda I am sure will work just fine.
