vodka cream sauce

Ingredients

    * Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    * Onions, raw, .5 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    * Garlic, 1 clove (remove)
    * Canned Tomatoes, 1 cup (remove)
    * Vodka, 1/2 cup (remove)
    * Fat free half and half, .5 cup (remove)
    * Parmesan Cheese, grated, 1 tbsp (remove)

Directions

soften onion in oil, add garlic and tomatoes (drained) and spices. Stir in vodka, and cook to reduce. The longer you cook, the more alcohol is cooked out of sauce. In the mean time, whisk together half and half with 1 tsp cornstarch. Stir into sauce mixture and cook to thicken. Toss with cooked pasta (not included) and top with grated parmesan.
