Crockpot French Dip Roast

Introduction

This is very good. Serve it sliced thinly with onions on hard rolls with melted mozzerella or provalone cheese. Serve au jus on the side for dipping. Yum! This is very good. Ingredients

    3 lb Beef Bottom Round or Rump Roast
    1 onion, sliced
    1 packet of Au Jus Gravy Mix
    1 cup white wine or water (or beef broth)
    1/8 tsp garlic pepper

Directions

Place onion slices in bottom of crockpot, place roast, trimmed of excess fat, on top of onions. Mix together remaining ingredients, and pour over roast.

Cook on low 10-12 hours.

  • This was amazing. We used minced garlic instead of the garlic pepper, and diluted the sauce with more water. We ate it on wheat rolls and added the onions on top. Definitely making again! - 3/2/09
