Buttery Sauteed Halibut

Introduction

Very simple recipe for pan sauteed halibut. This recipe is best with very fresh fish. Very simple recipe for pan sauteed halibut. This recipe is best with very fresh fish.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 5 oz Halibut filets (or other similar whitefish)
    2 Tbs Butter
    2 Gloves Garlic, Minced

Directions

Season Halibut with your favorite herbs and/or seafood seasoning. Meanwhile, add minced garlic to melted butter in a medium nonstick saute pan on medium low heat. Allow garlic to infuse the butter for about 5 minutes. Be sure to keep heat low enough that butter does not brown. Turn up heat and add halibut to pan. Saute about 5-10 minutes, turning once until fish is golden on each side. Serve, pouring garlicky butter over each filet prior to serving.
