1 26 oz jar of pasta sauce (used Wild Harvest Organic Tomato Basil)
1 lb. lean ground turkey
1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes (used Del Monte no salt added Petite Cut)
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup Italian Style cheese (used Albertsons Six Cheese Blend)
1 large spaghetti squash
Brown ground turkey.
Add pasta sauce and canned tomatoes.
Let simmer while squash cooks.
Pierce squash and microwave for 10 minutes on high.
Cut in half and scoop out seeds.
With fork, scrape out in strands.
In 2 quart casserole, layer each with squash, sauce, and top with 1/4 cup of Italian Style cheese.
Bake 350 degrees for 12 minutes until heated through and cheese has melted.
Each serving is 1 cup. Serve with salad or your favorite vegetable.
