We tasted it before adding the cheese. It was wonderful without it so we left it out. - 3/22/10

  • Have made this several times. I adjust the spices to suit my degree of spiciness for the event. It turns out well. I don't put the cheese in I use it as a garnish. This is the best white chili I have made. - 1/27/13

  • I washed the beans before adding them to cut down on the sodium and didn't need to add the cheese. Cheese can be used as a garnish instead. Delicious!!!! - 11/10/11

  • We have been making a similar recipe for years, but don't think you need the cheese either. When I sercve it for others I do offer the cheese (also, tortilla chips in the bottom of the bowl) BUT this soup is wonderful all on it's own! - 12/24/10

  • I'm going to make this today. I had a really great chili yesterday at BJ's restaurant, and I want more! This will be the perfect recipe, except I'm going to use ground turkey instead of the chicken "boobs!"

Yum, glad to find this today. - 10/7/10
