Introduction

Make ahead one day as it tastes better after sitting at least one day! Lasts several days, but not usually at my house! Make ahead one day as it tastes better after sitting at least one day! Lasts several days, but not usually at my house!
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    2 stalks celery, diced
    2 medium onions, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

combine first 5 ingredients and mix well. Combine last 4 ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over cabbage mixture immediately and let cool. Cover and store in refrigerator. Chill at least 1 day before serving. Will stay fresh for several days. Makes 16, 1 cup servings.
