This was pretty good but I think next time I will use butter instead of olive oil. I know this adds calories but is one taste I am not willing to give up. - 1/20/10

This was great! I sliced some asparagus and sauteed along with the shrimp and garlic in lemon olive oil, and served over whole wheat pasta. Yummy and filling! - 3/7/09

  • Excellent! Bought baby shrimp on skewers only 2 find out that the grill was disconnected. Made this with only 25 shrimp so I cut back on the wine & garlic. After making this many times now, I think I will double sauce as noodles have been dry. I also added broccoli to pasta. - 4/23/12

Oops! Sorry I missed your question. I have made this when I was out of wine. You'll need to reduce the cook time to avoid dryness.

You know the process of cooking removes the alcohol from wine, if that's your concern.
