Introduction

This hummus has a real zing to it and packs in the flavor! Serve it in a pita with veggies for lunch, or dip sliced veggies in it for a protein packed snack! Shown in a jar- this hummus serves many! This hummus has a real zing to it and packs in the flavor! Serve it in a pita with veggies for lunch, or dip sliced veggies in it for a protein packed snack! Shown in a jar- this hummus serves many!
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 c chickpeas
    2 cloves fresh garlic
    2 tbsp canola oil
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 roasted red pepper (from jar)

Directions

Drain and rinse 1 can of chickpeas. Peel two cloves of garlic. Put all ingredients in food processor or blender except oil. Blend ingredients in while streaming in 2 tbsp of canola oil. That's all it takes to make a delicious and hearty hummus. I store in a ball jar in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
