Apple Oatmeal Bars

Introduction

Delicious apple dessert. Adapted from "Not Just Beans". Delicious apple dessert. Adapted from "Not Just Beans".
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1 cup quick oats
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 stick Blue Bonnet Light, melted
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1 large apple, chopped
    1/2 cup sugar

Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients and pat half into an 8x8-inch pan. Mix apples and sugar then top the crust in the pan with entire mixture. Crumble remaining oat mixture over the top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes. Makes 9 bars.
