Granola Bars

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 stick Blue Bonnet Light, softened
    2 tbsp honey
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 egg
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 1/2 cups oats
    1 1/4 cups corn flakes, very lightly crushed
    2/3 cup dried cranberries

Directions

In a large bowl, cream together sugars and margarine until light and fluffy. Add honey, vanilla and egg. Mix well. Blend in flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients. Press firmly into a greased 13x9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Makes 24 bars.
