Introduction

Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1/2 cup liquid butter spray
    1 cup sugar
    1/4 cup egg subtitute
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon allspice
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    1/4 teaspoon cloves
    1 cup unsweetened applesauce

    you can also put in 3/4 cut chopped nut if desired (recipe calculated w/o nuts)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 9 inch cake pan (round/square) with non-stick spray.
Cream butter spray and sugar until fluffy. Add in and blend well the egg subsitute. Combine all dry ingredients and add alternately with the applesauce into the butter mixture. Add nuts (optional).

Pour into cake pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool in the pan for about 5 minutes then remove from pan onto a wire rack.

Cut into 9 - 1 inch squares.
Yields 9 servings.
