Introduction

This is my rendition of the Alders cornbread recipe just healthed up a bit with a little less sugar, a little less oil, and a whole wheat flour. This is my rendition of the Alders cornbread recipe just healthed up a bit with a little less sugar, a little less oil, and a whole wheat flour.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 c wheat flour
    1/2 c sugar
    1/2 c yellow cornmeal
    1/4 c canola oil
    1 c nonfat milk
    1 large egg
    1 tlbs baking powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350˚. Blend all ingredients well in medium bowl. Bake in lightly greased 9x9 pan for 35 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
