Introduction

Something I threw together when I was missing an important ingredient for another recipe. Something I threw together when I was missing an important ingredient for another recipe.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    12 oz very lean beef cut into thin strips
    2 teaspoons cornstarch
    1 Tablespoon soy sauce
    2 teaspoons sesame oil
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1 1/2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
    5 cloves garlic
    4 large carrots
    2 bell peppers
    2 bunches green onions
    juice and zest from 1 orange

Directions

slice beef very thin. Combine beef, soy sauce, oil, garlic, corn starch and black pepper in bowl and toss til well coated. Heat non-stick skillet and when hot toss meat until well cooked and brown. Remove from pan. Add carrots and peppers, cook until soft but not mushy. Add onions and toss for just a few minutes. Add meat back in. Add orange juice, vinegar and zest and cook til thickened. Serve with rice, serves 3
