You can mix and match these fruits but I feel these are the best to make such a wonderful appetizer for a party or even a great topping for waffles! Ingredients
-
2 kiwis - peeled and diced
2 Golden Delicious Apples - peeled, cored and diced
8 oz of Raspberries
1 pound Strawberries
2 TBSP of Splenda
1 TBSP of brown sugar
3 TBSP of fruit preserves
10 - 10" wheat tortillas
butter flavored cooking spray
2 Cups of sugar mixed with 2 TBSP of ground cinnamon
Directions
preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl combine all the fruits, sugars and fruit preserves. Cover and chill at least 15 minutes.
Cut tortillas into chips, arrange, spray and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake each batch for 8-10 minutes and allow to cool 15 minutes.
In order to make all the chips, It can take up to an hour.
This should make between 3-5 cups of salsa and is great for a party! Serving size would be at the most of 1/4 of a cup (when you have 5 cups). Be careful ;) this IS addicting!
