Ingredients

1/3 tsp. Garlic Powder
2/3 tsp. Onion Powder
1/3 tsp. Cayenne Pepper (ground)
2/3 tsp. Paprika
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black pepper
1/3 tsp. Dried Thyme (ground)
Directions
Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. spread seasoning on plate or tray. Dry meat very well and dredge in seasoning mixure or rub into meat. Drizzle meat with either olive oil, melted butter or melted margarine. Place meat in a very hot skillet or grill and cook until blackened (a few minutes per side for fish 5 to 7 minutes per side for chicken or til juices run clear). Great over salad, rice, pasta or as a sandwich.
