Ingredients

1 package boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 (16 oz) jar of salsa
1 pkg taco seasoning
Directions
Cook in crock pot 8-10 hours on low. Shred meat using forks, and serve on whole wheat tortillas with 2% cheddar cheese and non-fat refried beans.

Also added a can of black beans and a can of corn. The only thing that I had on hand was a large package of fryer chicken so I skinned it and used it in the crock-pot as the directions stated. De-boned the chicken while shredding. Meat was so tender that it fell off the bone. We loved this recipe! - 1/28/12

Almost didn't make this. It didn't sound great, but it was. Mixed taco seasoning & salsa, poured some in bottom of crock pot, put chicken in, & poured rest of salsa mix on top. DH ate it 2 days in a row & wanted more on the 3rd!!!!!! (That never happens, but I had frozen the rest....sorry.) - 8/7/12

Like others here, I add black beans and corn, and this recipe is always a hit! We serve it wrapped in wheat tortillas with lettuce and low fat sour cream and low fat cheese. My family LOVES it, and I love that it's super easy to prepare, tastes delicious, and gets some veggies into my picky kids! - 7/20/11
