Taken from Southern Living to make use of the green beans I grow in summer and the pecans that fall in my yard in winter. Very good with pork. Ingredients

2 lbs small green beans
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup Smart Balance 50/50 unsalted butter blend
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions
Wash green beans and trim ends. Cook beans and 1/2 tsp salt in a small amout of boiling water in a Dutch oven 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain beans and return to pan.
Meanwhile saute pecans in butte in a medium skillet until butter is lightly browned and pecans are toasted and aromatic.
Pour butter-pecan mixture over beans; sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired, tossing gently to coat.
MAKES 8 SERVINGS
