Rumbamel's Tuna Salad

Submitted by: RUMBAMEL

Introduction

This is a great high protein low carb and low fat recipe that I like to eat with romaine lettuce instead of crackers. Although, it is really good with Keebler Bistro Multigrain crackers as well. Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

85g of chopped or diced onions (I use white)
3 T dill pickle relish (mine is Mt Olive brand)
15.5 oz canned tuna drained (4 cans from Aldi)
1/2 c low fat cheese like Sargento 2% mexican
3 T Kraft Olive Oil Mayo

Directions

Open all four cans of tuna and drain in a small holed strainer. Squeezing a little bit.
Dice or chop the onions and put in a medium bowl along with the other ingredients and mix well. Add the drained tuna and mix again.

Serve with romaine lettuce leaves. (not in the nutrition values)

Makes about 5 servings of 4.5 oz each.

Enjoy!
