Herb meatballs

Introduction

This is an old recipe given to me by my mother in law. I have lightened it up and added more herbs and flavorings. This is an old recipe given to me by my mother in law. I have lightened it up and added more herbs and flavorings.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3/4 lb of lean ground beef
    1/4 lb of ground pork
    Bread Crumbs, dry seasoned
    1 egg
    1/4 cup of evaporated milk(fat free)
    1 small onion chopped
    1 celery rib chopped ( or celery leaves)
    3 cloves garlic chopped fine or grated
    1tea. parsley, basil, thyme leaves, fresh or dry.
    1/2 tea dill seed or weed. fresh or dry
    1/2 tea ground allspice
    salt and peeper to taste (optional)

Directions

Break up ground beef and pork, cover with bread crumbs, Pour on evaporated milk to soak, for 5 min.. In mean time chopp onions,garlic and celery. Add to meat mixture, add all herbs and egg. Mix and shape into 12 meatballs. Bake on flat pan coated with olive oil spray. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30min.
Makes 6 servings of 2 meatballs.
