Strawberry and Banana Smoothie

Introduction

This is a delicious smoothie, and my personal favorite. I'm not exactly sure about the measurements since I just toss everything in, so you can play around with each ingredient to get the right consistency. Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    Half of a medium, frozen banana
    1/2 Cup frozen, unsweetened strawberries
    1/2 Cup Water or fat free milk (I use water and it tastes great)
    1 Scoop whey protein powder (1/4 cup)
    1 tsp organic cane sugar
    Handful of walnuts (optional)

Directions

Place frozen banana and strawberries in a blender followed by water, protein powder, and cane sugar. Blend to desired consistency. Add more liquid if it is too thick, or more frozen fruit if too runny. Add nuts and blend for a few more seconds. Makes 1, 1 1/2 cup serving.
