French Vanilla Steel Cut Oats

Introduction

I was looking for something to give my Steel Cut Oats just a little sweeter taste. This Sugar Free Syrup works perfectly!! Add a little cinnamon before eating and it's very satisfying. Ingredients

    1 cup of dry steel cut oats
    4 cups of water
    3 T of DaVinci Sugar Free French Vanilla syrup

Directions

Add all ingredients to saucepan and boil for 15-20 minutes. Stir often.

I make this batch up on Sunday evening and keep it covered in the refrigerator. Grab a 3/4 cup or so each morning for breakfast. Pop in microwave until heated through. Sometimes I will add 1-2 T of milk to thin it out. Yum!!

Add brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, fresh fruit, raisins, choc chips...whatever you like in your oatmeal for added goodness.
