I made this for the Easter family dinner, with no modifications to the recipe. My sister and I loved it; my husband didn't dislike it, but said he wished I'd baked the asparagus longer. So the recommended 10-minute baking time may need to be adjusted to your (and your guests') personal tastes. - 4/4/10

So quick and easy! And absolutely DELISH! I've had asparagus from a can and in a soup... both times it was mushy and gross. This is still fresh and crispy! Yum! - 2/26/10

Love asparagus! And so good for you. I'm always looking for a recipe that's over and above standard steamed asparagus. This recipe is an amazing variation that piques the palate of anyone who tries it! (add a sprinkle of chopped garlic/red pepper) Thanks Chef Meg. Glad to have you in my kitchen - 3/6/12

The whole family loved this! I felt I could have reduced the oil by a quarter or so -- it seemed just a tad too greasy to me. I added a tsp of minced garlic to the sauce and ground some fresh salt & pepper over it after placing the asparagus on the baking sheet. The flavor was fabulous! - 7/19/11

This was really good. I cooked half for ten minutes and half for fifteen minutes. My girlfriend likes it crunchy and I like more tender. - 3/6/11

Asparagus taste good no matter how it's cooked, as long as it's not over cooked. Thanks for the easy & delicious recipe. - 4/3/10

After reading the reviews, I decided to add minced garlic in olive oil and rosemary. I think the garlic added a lot to it, but the rosemary was a little too much (it made it taste bitter). But otherwise, this was a great recipe for asparagus!! very simple and quick!! I also used reduced fat parmesan - 10/15/09

  • I was disappointed with this recipe. While it looked and sounded great, I actually prefer the taste of plain roasted asparagus (which I happen to love). - 4/14/14

  • I love asparagus any way I can get it. In fact, I prefer it raw. However, this is one of the best cooked asparagus dishes I've eaten. I used a Parmesan Asiago blend with Thyme rather than plain Parmesan and it was a great choice! - 4/12/14

  • I have made this twice already. Once for dinner, and my children ate it before they touched their salisbury steak or mashed potatoes. The very next day, as my 11 year old requested it to have in his lunch. It is a keeper in my house. - 4/9/13

  • We love to broil our Michigan Asparagus (we live in the asparagus capital of the world). This recipe provided me a new tip on coating by using a bag to mix ingredients. Loved it! - 1/8/13
