Barbeque Chili Spice Rub

Introduction

I took a cooking class and this rub was created by the Chef Robert Sevaly.
Awesome spice rub for fish, chicken, or beef. Not to spicy but full of flavor.

Ingredients

    2 TBLS Chili powder
    1 TBLS Black powder
    2 TBLS Smoked paprika
    1 Tsp White pepper
    6 TBLS Lemon Zest (dried in oven) and cooled
    4 TBLS Salt
    2 TBLS Garlic powder
    3 TBLS Onion powder
    Pinch Cayenne

Directions

Measure out all of the ingredients into a bowl, mixing the paprika, cumin, garlic, onion powder, cayenne, black pepper, white pepper, zest, and salt. Use a coffee grinder to get a nice consistancy.

This can be stored indefinitely in a ziplock, no need to refrigerate.
