Crock Pot Ravioli (or Tortellini)

Introduction

I live in a small town and grocery stores here have limited selections. I couldn't find Reduced Fat Italian Turkey Sausage, so I just used the regular Italian sausage as written below. It increases the calories but I ate a smaller portion instead and served a Lite Caesar salad with it to fill me up. I live in a small town and grocery stores here have limited selections. It increases the calories but I ate a smaller portion instead and served a Lite Caesar salad with it to fill me up.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb. Johnsonville Mild Italian Sausage, ground
    16 oz Ragu Pasta sauce (onion & garlic)
    4 oz can mushroom pieces & stems
    1 can Italian diced tomatoes, undrained
    9 oz Buitoni 4 cheese Ravioli (or tortellini)

    Caesar Lite Salad

Directions

Cook sausage as pkg directs, chop in chunks. In crock pot, combine cooked sausage, marinara sauce, tomatoes and mushrooms. Cook on low 4-8 hours. For last 20 minutes, stir in ravioli (or tortellini). Cover. Makes 6 1-cup portions.
