Sen's Meatloaf

Introduction

My whole family LOVES this. I make it at least once a week. Can be made into a low carb dish by reducing or omiting the breadcrumbs. My whole family LOVES this. I make it at least once a week. Can be made into a low carb dish by reducing or omiting the breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

    Pepper, black, a dash
    Salt, 1tsp
    Onions, raw, 1cup, chopped
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, seasoned, 1/4 cup
    3 large egg whites
    French's Meatloaf seasoning packet
    Laura's Lean Ground Round 1 pound package

    To take the bitterness of the onion out, I toss them in a pan with a touch of non stick cooking spray, salt and pepper. Do that until onions are clear. This adds better flavor to the meatloaf.

    Also, use only 1/2 of the seasoning packet as the breadcrumbs are already seasoned.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients together. Place in a loaf pan. Bake about 45 minutes. Let rest about 5 minutes before cutting. Top with low sugar ketchup if desired. This makes 5 servings.
