2 pounds beef round steak 1 medium onion, sliced 1 10 3/4 oz can condensed cream of celery soup 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Trim fat from round steak and cut into serving size portions. Place onion in 3 1/2 to 4 quart slow cooker. Place meat over onion. In a small bowl, combine soup, oregano, thyme, and pepper. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours.
This was awesome and is so going into my familiy favorite recipe book. I loved it and the only thing I added were some carrots, only because I needed to use them up. My husband loved it too.
This was really great! I used a small roast cut into two pieces since there are only tow of us. I added two sliced potatoes before adding the soup & I used cream of chicken. I told hubby we were having "Salisbury steak" since the gray turned a rich brown.
