Beef and Broccoli - WW (does not include rice)

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 T dry Sherry
    2 T Soy Sauce
    1 T grated, peeled ginger root
    5-6 cloved garlic
    1 T asian sesame oil
    1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
    1 tsp cornstarch
    4 cups broccoli
    3 scallions

Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients in plastic bag for marinade.

Slice steak into strips, place in gallon-size plastic bag. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight.

Fry steak until no longer pink. Remove from skillet. In remaining juices, stir-fry broccoli.

Pour remaining marinade into measuring cup. Add enough water to make 1/2 cup liquid. Add cornstarch and wisk until blended.

When broccoli is tender, return steak, add marinade. Stir until sauce is thickened.

Serve over brown rice.
