Citrus Garlic Shrimp

Introduction

Very yummy light shrimp dish Very yummy light shrimp dish
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 can mandarin oranges undrained
    1/3 cup lemon juice
    3-4 cloves minced garlic
    5 tsp grated lemon peel (fresh)
    1 tsp orange peel (dried) or 4 tsp fresh
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled

Directions

Mix in large skillet and cook until shrimp turn pink.
Serve over linguine or rice. (not included in recipe) I also added asparagus that was very tasty!

  • I am so making this tonight it sound great.. i am also making steak i am going to not count cal today.. we were all sick on my husbands b-day so we having his dinner tonight.. one question when do you put in the oranges or do you just add them to the cooked shrimp?? thanks - 2/14/09

    I put the oranges in after the shrimp are cooked.
