Saucy Liver Strips

Introduction

A delicious way to add iron to your diet! A delicious way to add iron to your diet!
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    16 oz sliced beef liver, cut into strips
    1 large garlic clove, minced
    1 cup sliced raw onion
    1/2 tsp. orengano
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 can tomato soup
    1/4 cup water

Directions

In skillet, brown liver strips with garlic, onion and oregano in butter over med. heat. Add remaining ingredients. Cover; cook over low heat for 20 minutes or till done. Stir occasionally.

Makes a great entree or serve over brown rice.

Makes 5 - 11/4 cup servings

    Love this. I have made it 5 times already! I use different types of tomato soup and it slightly alters the flavour. Tomato and red pepper soup was nice. - 11/8/08
