Mexican Pizza

Introduction

I found this recipe in a little cookbook that was all about cream cheese. I just changed it up and used Reduced fat Crescent Rolls, Fat Free Cream Cheese, Light SOur Cream, Turkey Meat, and Low Fat Cheese instead of the original recipe. My husband LOVED this and has asked that we have it once a week! I found this recipe in a little cookbook that was all about cream cheese. Ingredients

1 Can Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls
1-8oz pkg Fat Free Cream Cheese
    1 c. Light Sour Cream
1 lb Ground Turkey (Extra Lean)
    1 env. taco seasoning mix
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese (Reduced Fat)
    1-1 1/2 c. lettuce
10 cherry tomato or 1 medium tomato
10 jumbo black olives or to taste

Directions

Unroll crescent roll dough and place in a greased 13x9x1 baking pan. Flatten dough to fit the pan, sealing seams and perforations. Bake at 375 for 8 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown; cool. In a small bowl, blend Fat Free cream cheese and Light sour cream with a wire whisk. Spread over crust. Chill until you are ready to layer the remaining ingredients. In a skillet brow ground turkey, drain if necessary. Stir in taco seasoning and water according to package directions and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spread over cream cheese layer. Immediately top with cheese (so it will melt), followed by lettuce, tomato, and olives. Let it sit a minimum of 5 minutes so that it can "set." Serve! It makes a minimum of 8 pieces, but you can cut smaller. I was in a hurry!
