i love this recipe! the only problem i have, is that it can get really really expensive. I either wait for red bell peppers to go on sale for $1 each or i head over to the local asian market where they tend to be cheaper.

Once i have made a big batch, i freeze individual servings. works great! - 11/7/09

  • I love this soup and I don't care for soups much. Even my 2 year old likes it. I recommend it to everyone. I like to put in other colored peppers like yellow orange and green. I also let it simmer for an hour versus 25 minutes. - 2/9/13

  • This recipe tasted too strong with the white wine. Next time I would try substituting chicken broth instead of white wine to see if the taste would be better. I felt kind of funny after eating a few tablespoons of it. No way I would allow my husband to eat 2 cups for his P90x menu. - 1/18/12

  • So easy to make! It's hard to believe that this soup is based on so many water-heavy veggies, has only a tiny bit of seasoning and NO salt and yet it is thick, hearty, and full of rich flavor. This is definitely going into heavy rotation in my kitchen. - 2/23/10
