Broiled Chili-Garlic Tofu

Introduction

Spicy! Cut back on the chili paste if heat isn't your thing. Make sure to drain the tofu as much as possible and place under broiler for the last minutes of cooking to get a nice crust. Spicy! Ingredients

    Tofu, extra firm, 2 block
    Garlic, 2 clove crushed
    *Soy Sauce, 2 tbsp
    Sesame Oil, 2 tbsp
    Ginger Root, 1 tsp
    Chili garlic paste, 2 heaping tsp.

Directions

Cut tofu into 6 thick slabs. Place on baking sheet. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix crushed garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger and chili paste together in a bowl and brush half of mixture on tofu. Place in oven for 10 minutes. Remove and brush remaining mixture and place under broiler for additional 5 minutes.
