Introduction

Good and easy food for the winter. I got this recipe from my mom, I don't know if this is modified or from my grandma. Good and easy food for the winter. I got this recipe from my mom, I don't know if this is modified or from my grandma.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb polish sausage - I use hillshire farms
    1 lb sauerkraut
    1 large apple chopped
    3 medium potatos, peeled and quartered
    2 cups apple juice
    2 cups of water

Directions

Heat water and apple juice in a large pot or dutch oven, add all ingrediants and simmer or low boil until potato's are tender.

  • Was looking for something different yesterday. Was very easy to make and was a big hit with the family. Did not have apple juice, used pineapple instead. This is one my easy list. - 3/30/09
