TexMex Cassarole

Ingredients

    1 pkg. of low sodium taco seasoning
    1 lb. of lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. of lean ground turkey
    1 box of spanish rice (Old El Paso)
    1 bag of 2% 4-Cheese Mexican Cheese

Directions

Prepare rice as instructed on back of box. While it is boiling, brown ground beef and turkey. Add seasoning as instructions indicate. Before all the water has completely boiled off the rice, combine with ground beef/turkey mixture. Add cheese and stir until melted. I like to add black beans after since my fiance doesn't like them (not included in nutritional count)
