chineses noodle bowl

Ingredients

4 cloves garlic minced
2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
1 1/2 tablespoons wok oil or canola oil
1 large can 42 oz chicken broth
2 C seafood broth
2 inch piece fresh ginger
8 oz skinless boneless chicken breast sliced thin
10oz shrimp peeled and deveined
10 oz bean sprouts
2 C snow peas
4 C bok choy
1 C scallions
2 C mushrooms
8 oz vermicelli
optional
sesame oil
soy sauce
Directions
prepare veggies by: slicing thin mushrooms, bok choy, and scallions
slice snow peas in half
slice chicken thinly across grain
mince garlic and saute lightly with pepper flakes in oil
add chicken and seafood broth and bring to simmer
peel and mince ginger root add to broth
add chicken to broth and once broth comes to a boil add vermicelli
once vermicelli is softened and lying in broth
add rest of veggies and shrimp
simmer only until shrimp pink and noodles cooked through
divide among bowls
optionally add 1/2 t sesame oil and soy sauce to taste for each bowl
