Banana Nut Bread

Introduction

This is the best receipe I've found. I don't remember where I first found it, but have used it for years. This is the best receipe I've found. I don't remember where I first found it, but have used it for years.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/4 cup shortening
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 egg
    2/3 cup mashed banana
    1/4 cup sour milk
    1/2 teaspoon soda
    2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking poeder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup Walnuts

Directions

Add shortening & sugar, mix well.
Add egg, mashed banana, sour milk, soda, baking powder & salt, mix til well blended, about two minutes.
Blend flour into mixture.
Add nuts, or not, your choice.

Bake in large bread pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
