Introduction

MY FAMILY LOVES THIS CHILI ON COLD DAYS OR HOT ! MY HUSBAND LIKES IT WITH CORNBREAD AND MY GRANDSON LIKES SALTINES! MY FAMILY LOVES THIS CHILI ON COLD DAYS OR HOT ! MY HUSBAND LIKES IT WITH CORNBREAD AND MY GRANDSON LIKES SALTINES!

Ingredients

    1- 20 OZ. BAG CAJUN 15 BEAN SOUP
    1.25 IBS JENNIE O GROUND TURKEY
    4- CANS DICED TOMATOES ( I USE NO SALT)
    3- PACKS CHILI SEASONINGS
    CHILI POWDER TO TASTE
    I- LARGE ONION

Directions

I PUT MY BEANS ON AS DIRECTED BY THE PACKAGE MINUS THE SEASONING PACK ON THE INSIDE.( THIS CAN BE USED FOR OTHER SEASONING). YOU CAN ADD SALT OR SALT ADDITIVE TO BEANS IF YOU LIKE, NOT INCLUDED IN INGREDIENTS.

AFTER BEANS HAVE COOKED FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS I FRY MY GROUND TURKEY IN DRY SKILLET WITH ONE SEASONING PACKET OF CHILI SEASONING.

ADD 1 LARGE CHOPPED ONION TO POT OF BEANS WITH GROUND TURKEY AND THE 2 REMAINING SEASONING PACKETS AND STIR.
ADD REGULAR CHILI POWDER TO TASTE.

ADD 4 CANS DICED TOMATOES AND STIR, COOK ON LOW HEAT STIRRING OFTEN TO PREVENT STICKING.

ADD WATER IF YOU LIKE MORE JUICE!
YOU MAY ADD SALT ,PEPPER OR HOT SAUCE TO SPICE UP! ( SOME HAVE ADDED CORN,BUT MY BUNCH DOESN'T CARE FOR IT THIS WAY)
