Herb Bread

Introduction

A "Taste of Home" recipe. I changed the caraway to dill though because I don't care for caraway in bread. A "Taste of Home" recipe. I changed the caraway to dill though because I don't care for caraway in bread.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 c. warm milk
    1 egg
    2 c. Bread Flour
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    2 T. sugar
    2 t. dillweed
    1 1/2 t. poppy seeds
    1 1/2 t. minced onio
    1 t. sage
    1 t. salt
    1/2 t. nutmeg
    2 T. smart balance spread
    1 1/2 t. yeast (bread machine or fast acting)

Directions

Mix, knead, let rest until risen. Shape and let rise in pan. Can be made in breadmaker by putting wet ingredients in first, followed by flour, herbs, smart balance in corners. Make well in center for yeas (1 1/2 t.). Bake at 375F 45-50 minutes or until it sounds hollow when tapped. Makes 1 large loaf.
