Colorful Cottage Cheese Dip

Submitted by: ALTHORP

Introduction

I love cottage cheese, and this colorful dip does not disguise the taste, so only try it if you also like cottage cheese! It is low in calories and has a lot of protein and other nutrients, and it's really easy to prepare. I like to have it with crackers, but I'm sure it would taste good with tortilla chips or anything else you like to dip. Directions

1. Defrost the frozen peas by letting them stand out or heating them in the microwave (1 minute is the right amount of time in my microwave).

2. In a bowl, mush the peas a little bit with a fork to break their skin.

3. Add chopped tomato, lemon juice, and dill.

4. Add cottage cheese and tabasco sauce and mix all ingredients.

Serve with your chosen dippers. This recipe makes 2 1/2-cup servings of dip.
