Ingredients

    2 (15.5 ounce) cans garbanzo beans, drained
    4 tablespooons lemon juice
    6 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
    3 tablespoons tahini
    1/4 teaspon crused red pepper

Directions

Place garbanzo beans in a food processor and blend into a spreadable paste. Mix in lemon juice, garlic, tahini and crused red pepper. Blend until smooth, using more lemon juice if consistency is too thick

  • Perfect for my taste, nice garlic and lemon, didn't adjust at all and glad to see a recipe with no olive oil - there's no need for it. Just wish serving size was in tbs. or 1/4 cup, etc. Thanks! - 4/2/07
