IntroductionMy kids eat these as fast as they come out of the oven. My hubby even eats then and he does not like raisins! Glade they do not know that they are healthy for them! 2 cups quick oats
2 cups unsifted flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 1/2 cups raisins
mixture, stirring until a smooth, thick batter forms. Stirin raisins. Cover; chill at least 1-2 hours.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto greased cookie sheet. With fork, press lightly to flatten.
Bake at 350Â°F 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from cookie sheet; cool on rack.
May be stored in tightly covered container up to 3 weeks.
Makes 8 dozen.
One serving = 1 cookie but since they are so low cal. you can eat a couple without feeling guilty!
