IntroductionMadrina's recipe Madrina's recipe
1 lg can Evaporated milk
2 tsp Vanilla
4 lg eggs
3-4oz of Cream Cheese
1/2 a can of Condensed Milk
Other items needed:
2 baking pans:
1-I use a 6in (3in tall) round pan to bake the flan
2-A baking pan large enough to fit first pan and tall enough to fill with water
Constantly stir sugar and adjust temp (lower) as needed.
DO NOT leave sugar on stove top unattended.
Once sugar is melted immediatly pour into pan that will be used to bake the flan
In the blender add the rest of the ingredients
Pour mixture on top of caramelized sugar (in pan)
Cover small pan with foil
Insert small pan in larger pan
Fill larger pan Â½ way with water
Bake at 375 for an hour (if using an 8 or 9in pan bake for 45 min)
6in pan makes 8, 2in slices
