Chicken Casserole with Celery and Rice

Introduction

This is similar to an old pork chops and rice recipe from the back of the Campbell's French Onion Soup can. This is similar to an old pork chops and rice recipe from the back of the Campbell's French Onion Soup can.

Ingredients

    3 cups cooked chicken, chopped
    1 box rice pilaf
    2 cups chopped celery
    2 cups water
    1 can french onion soup
    2 tsp thyme
    1 tsp pepper

Directions

In a large covered skillet mix celery, thyme, chicken, water, soup, pepper. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 min. Add rice pilaf, bring back to a boil, reduce heat and cook covered for 20-25 minutes until rice is soft.
