Baked Spaghetti




Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    8 ozs. uncooked wheat spaghetti
    2 egg whites
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1/2 tsp salt
    6 ozs Morningstar veggie crumbles
    4 Morningstar sausage links
    1 small onion-chopped
    1/4 cup green pepper-chopped
    14 oz Ragu Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
    8 oz tomato sauce
    6 slices Tillamook Pepper Jack Cheese

Directions

heat oven to 350. Cook spaghetti according to directions-drain. Cook the sausages in microwave according to directions. Crumble with fork, set aside. In a large bowl, beat egg white, milk, & salt. Add cooked spaghetti and toss to coat. Transfer to a 13 x 9 baking dish, which has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. In a large skillet, mix the Morningstar crumbles, cooked sausage, onion, and green pepper. Cook over medium heat until crumbles are hot and the vegetables are tender. Stir often to keep from sticking to pan. Add spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce, mix well. Spoon over the spaghetti mixture and spread evenly. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes. Place cheese slices on top and bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
